Just a month ago news were doing the rounds that Bollywood’s box-office queen Sonakshi Sinha has signed a Telugu film SHIVAM, opposite southern superstar and heartthrob Mahesh Babu, which is being produced by Ashwini Dutt and directed by Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi.
As per the reports, during one of her visits to South, Sona had expressed her fondness & desire to work with Mahesh Babu. So, when the gorgeous actress was offered the film she grabbed it with both the hands.
The director has almost completed the scripting of the film and the latest buzz in the trade is that the shooting of the film is likely to commence from May, once Mahesh Babu wraps up his current projects like SEETHAMMA VAKITLO SIRIMALLE CHETTU and another untitled film with Sukumar.
We also hear that Sonakshi Sinha has been signed for a whooping amount.
With a slew of 100 crore hits like ROWDY RATHORE, DABANGG 1 & 2 and SON OF SARDAAR, it seems Sonakshi is all set to rule the roost in South too!
Meanwhile, the beautiful actress has her hands full with Bollywood projects like Prabhudheva’s next RAJKUMAR RAMBO opposite Shahid Kapoor, Tigmanshu Dhulia’s BULLET RAJA starring Saif Ali Khan alongside, Director Vikramaditya Motwane and producer Ekta Kapoor’s LOOTERA opposite Ranveer Singh, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI 2 & THUPAKKI’s remake with superstar Akshay Kumar.
